Thank you for coming by my slice of the Internet.  By day I am a network security engineer for a solution provider.  I have been in IT since graduating from high school in many roles including ISP tech support, educational tech support, system administration, desktop deployment, network engineering, and telecommunications.  Recently I have followed my interest in security to learn more about cybersecurity.

When I’m not connected to a computer, smartphone or other electronic device, I am probably at home with my wife and our three dogs.  Ok so even when I’m home with them I’m probably connected in some way.  My wife and I are avid Xbox gamers. I find that game violence is a good stress reliever after work.  My wife and I also work with a local dog rescue organization to foster and find homes for dogs from the pound.  If you really want to see what goes on in my mind outside of computers, try my personal blog.
